I grew up in India. I did my undergraduate and medical school work in India and my postgraduate medical training in Southern California. I come from a family of physicians, and hearing all the wonderful stories of how fulfilling it was to take care of people with health issues, I decided to follow in the family tradition and became a doctor. I have two children who also have chosen to pursue medicine. There is no better feeling than to be able to help other people.
