Nolan S. Berman, M.D., board certified in pediatrics, specializes in infants, children and adolescents and is on staff at Chris Evert ChildrenÂ’s Hospital at Broward General Medical Center. Before joining Rio Vista Pediatrics, Dr. Berman enjoyed a distinctive career in pediatric medicine in Southern California. He served as chief of pediatrics at the ChildrenÂ’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego. He was also attending physician for pediatric infectious disease and assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Berman has been an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and served on San DiegoÂ’s Subcommittee on TV, Toys and Violence. As a major in the US Army stationed in Vietnam, Dr. Berman served as chief physician and administrator of a 36-bed childrenÂ’s hospital. Dr. Berman received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Illinois. He interned at Los Angeles County General Hospital, and served his pediatric residency at Harbor General Hospital and University of California, Los Angeles. He was a fellow in infectious disease at Los Angeles County General Hospital/University of Southern California Medical Center Medical Center. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been published in numerous medical journals.
