Nardos Benton D.M.D. Dr. Nardos Benton was born in Eritrea, East Africa and was raised in Geneva, Switzerland. She is fluent in her native language, Tigrigna as well as in French, Italian and is conversational in Spanish. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of  Portland, Oregon where she received  her Bachelor in Modern languages.  She then earned her D.M.D degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Soon after graduation in 2001 Dr. Benton served as the Clinical Director for the Menifee Dental Clinic in Frenchburg, Kentucky.  There, she treated patients of the Appalachian region and trained General Practice Residents from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Benton opened her state of the art private dental practice in Lexington in 2005 .  Over the past 10 years, Dr. Benton has undergone extensive training in all aspect of dentistry. She emphasizes patient comfort as well keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide optimal dental care to the entire family. She is an active member of numerous community and professional organization, including the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Bluegrass Dental Society, & National Dental Association to name a few.
