Brief Intro

I take great pride in knowing my patients, being a resource for them and contributing to their well being. I am a double board-certified doctor in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. I practice comprehensive care for my patients addressing diet, physical activity and emotional balance to help them with their overall wellness. I provide continuity from outpatient visit in the clinic to inpatient care at the hospital. My practice is a part of medical training site and I enjoy teaching residents, medical students and other learners. I am passionate about community health and have led several community initiatives to reduce health care disparities in areas of chronic disease management and opioid use disorder. In addition, I am involved in research and quality improvement initiatives that have led to publication of many articles, book chapters as well as several regional and national level presentations. I completed my residency training in Family Practice in 2007 followed by a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine in 2008 at St. Luke’s University Health Network. When not working I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
