North Ohio Heart Center "NOHC" specializes in cardiology and commitment. It is the largest private cardiology practice in Northeast Ohio and one of the most respected. We enjoy an excellent reputation for providing quality patient care in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart. Areas of significant specialty include interventional, nuclear, preventative electrophysiology and general cadiology. In a large scale, full service cardiology practice such as NOHC, patients have the advantage of a carefully assembled group of colleagues whose skill and experiences compliment one another. Dr. Naim Farhat specializes in interventional cardiology. He attended medical school at the University of Damascus Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hopsital and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Farhat is currently Chief of Cardiology and the Director of Cath and Intervention Lab at St.John Westshore Hospital. He is very active in the clinical trial arena and on a yearly average, does over 1,000 coronary interventions procedures and 250 periperal/renal interventions. Dr. Farhat has successfully done 50-60 Aneuryx stenting procedures over the last 2-2 1/2 years with minimal to no complications.
