I have been providing general dentistry for the last 24 years and I can say that I truly have passion for dentistry. My strong interest in dentistry began during my orthodontic treatment when I was thirteen years old. The time I spent discussing dentistry with my own dentist was inspirational. As an artist who had taken up painting as a hobby, I appreciated more than ever the detailed work a dentist must perform.
Dentistry, like painting required a great deal of dexterity. I was aware that acquiring a strong background in health sciences was essential in the training of a dentist, and I was committed to devote time and energy to these tasks. It was important for me that I will have the special responsibility of alleviating pain and correcting dental problems.
Dentistry provided an ideal combination of art and medicine. I received my B.A. degree from University of Washington in 1992. I attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts from 1992 to 1996, and earned my D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1996. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Society, and Snohomish County Dental Society. I am constantly updating my knowledge through many hours of continuing dental education. I am committed to treating my patients with honesty, thoughtful treatment planning and the highest quality of care. I have chosen Seattle as my home since 1987. I am fluent in Persian language. Outside of the office hours, I enjoy skiing, hiking, dancing, cooking, and reading. I look forward to providing every patient with excellent dental care.
