Dr. Krishnan was in private practice in Osage Beach from 2000 to until he joined Lake Regional's medical staff in 2010. Throughout his time at the lake, he has helped Lake Regional build a comprehensive heart program. Before opening his private practice, Dr. Krishnan was director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at MU Health Care. He also was assistant professor of internal medicine, Division of Cardiology, and medical director for Cardiac Rehabilitation at MU. his cardiology practice, Dr. Krishnan has served as chief of staff at Lake Regional Hospital, as well as on several LRHS committees. He also was named Lake Regionals Physician of the Year in 2010.
