Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery, PC was established in Ocean County New Jersey in 2006 as a full service dermatology practice. At Advanced Dermatology we pride ourselves on our core values, which are comprised of compassion, respect and integrity. We constantly strive to remain at the forefront of advanced dermatologic care, including recent diagnostic and therapeutic developments. Dr. Mordechai M. Tarlow, the directing physician of Advanced Dermatology, graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where based on his performance among the top of the class he was selected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his dermatology training at Rutgers University Medical School in New Jersey, where he served as the chief resident in his final year. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as textbook chapters. In addition to maintaining a busy practice, he is a member of the faculty in the Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the prestigious Duhring award for excellence in teaching. He lives in Lakewood with his wife and children, and uses his passion for dermatology and medicine in general to help the surrounding community in cases of facial trauma requiring expert reconstructive care.
