Dr. Duncan graduated from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges magna cum laude and received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1998. She completed her residency in general surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Duncan joined Maryland Surgeons in 2005 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor medical society. While working at the Baltimore VA Hospital, she twice was awarded the Gold VA Pin, an award certificate for "Caring and Courtesy." Dr. Duncan has a special interest in endocrine and breast surgery.
