Dr. Mohammed Basha is on faculty at UCF College of Medicine as Assistant Professor of internal Medicine and is employed with HCA as GME faculty for the UCF COM/HCA GME Internal Medicine Residency Program in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Basha completed his residency in internal medicine in New York, NY and moved to Florida. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and joined the University of Florida for his Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism. Subsequently, he joined the VA to serve the American Veterans which he did for an extended period of time. He received recognition and service awards from VA leadership, including the PACT Recognition Award. Dr. Basha believes strongly in patient education and in preventive medicine. He has extensive teaching experience involving the medical students, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
