Brief Intro

Dr Gevaert is specialized in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of neck pain and back pain. This includes conditions such as disk pain and facet pain. Treatment of spinal disorders includes pain medication, physical therapy and injections ( spinal injections) The interventional pain management includes IDET, nucleoplasty, cervical and lumbar epidurals, facet injections, radio-ablation of the facets; cervical and lumbar sympathetic blocks. Dr Gevaert believes that a combination of exercise, oral medication and interventional pain management results in the best outcome. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine, the Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the International Spinal Interventional Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine and many others. Dr Gevaert speaks English, French and Spanish.
