Michael D. Heuman, MD, joined the Department of Specialty Care- General Surgery in July 2014. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Ft. Gordon, GA, after obtaining his doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Heuman served in the US Army and worked as a General Surgeon during his enlistment. In the Army, he also traveled to Seoul, Korea, and worked as a General Surgeon there. Dr. Heuman offers advanced treatment options through Robotic Surgery, Heartburn Treatment, Colonoscopies, and much more. A valued member of the KCH General Surgery team, Dr. Heuman provides quality care to patients of various ages.
