Brief Intro

Dr. Hsu has a strong interest in preventive dentistry and firmly believes that parents should be empowered with the knowledge to help their kids stay cavity-free. Through modification in dietary practices and improvement in oral hygiene routine, it is possible to treat early caries without surgical drilling. He would be more than happy to examine your child to assess caries risk and discuss a course of management most suited for his or her situation. Dr. Hsu actively pursue opportunities to collaborate with pediatricians and family physicians in providing the best oral health services to children. He looks for opportunities to share information with parents and other health care professionals to help kids stay healthy and happy. He has lectured to dentists, physicians, school nurses, elementary, middle, and high school students on good oral health practices, and specializes in dental trauma management and non-pharmacological behavior management. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is very interested in road cycling and is the founder of the Gentle Dental Cycling Team. He has rode in various organized fundraising tours, including one with Lance Armstrong.
