Michael Vezeridis, MD, is a surgeon affiliated with Rhode Island and the Miriam hospitals. He is a professor of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Vezeridis received his medical degree from the University of Athens Medical School of Health and Science, completed a residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA, and completed a fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Vezeridis areas of expertise include gastrointestinal surgery, melanoma and surgical oncology. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Association of Academic Surgery, the International Society for Digestive Surgery, the Metastasis Research Society, the New York Academy of Sciences and the Society of Surgical Oncology, among others.
