Dr. Klingler chose colorectal surgery as his specialty because patients, including those with cancer, can often have a very positive outcome after treatment. He likes getting to know his patients, working with them to develop a care plan and helping them to get better. While rare in other surgical specialties, he enjoys the long-term relationships colorectal surgeons are able to develop with their patients.Dr. Klingler has a special interest in colon and rectal cancer and appreciates the technical nature of his specialty and working with innovative technology like surgical robotics. He is always excited to meet and work with new patients and has volunteered his services to provide healthcare to homeless and underserved populations. He is thankful for the constant support his family provided during his many years of training and credits them as having the biggest influence in his life.In his free time, Dr. Klingler enjoys snowboarding, playing the banjo and competing in triathlons.Patients place an immense amount of trust in their surgeons, which makes it our responsibility to provide the highest level of care. I aim to treat each patient as I would a family member, taking the time to listen and collaborate with them to develop a personalized care plan.
