Michael McHugh, MD, is a Staff physician in the Department of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, at Cleveland Clinic's main campus. He was appointed in 1984 following completion of a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. Prior to his appointment, he served as a clinical associate at Cleveland Clinic while also serving as a clinical instructor in Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. Dr. McHugh is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, and its sub-board of Critical Care Medicine. His special interests include pediatric and adolescent medicine, pediatric advanced life support and surgical intensive care. Dr. McHugh received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He earned both his internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic, and is licensed to practice medicine in Ohio.
