Meet Dr. Michael Garcia
Dr. Garcia is a fellowship-trained physiatrist at Spine Team Texas, specializing in the non-surgical relief of back and neck pain through acute pain management, including spinal injections such as epidural steroid injections. His focus is on diagnosing, managing and interventionally treating spinal disorders and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
As a resident, Dr. Garcia performed diagnostic EMGs, treated spinal disorders, and served as a team physician for Denver University and the University of Colorado.
Dr. Garcia’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation and the American Medical Association.
