Dr. Darder is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has run a successful fertility practice in New Jersey for the past twenty-five years. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Dr. Darder’s large loving Italian and Arabic family inspired him to pursue a career in Reproductive Medicine. “I really wanted to help patients have a family, just like I had. There’s nothing like helping someone who is struggling to have a child, to have one,†he says. Dr. Darder received his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. “One of my greatest honors,†he says, “was being appointed Medical Director of the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program while still completing my third and final year of fellowship at Columbia.†In 1990, Dr. Darder co-founded IVF New Jersey with his colleague and dear friend Dr. Susan Treiser. His experience from Columbia University as the IVF Program’s Medical Director and Dr. Treiser’s caring, competent approach to reproductive medicine quickly established IVF New Jersey as an advanced New Jersey-based fertility program.
