Dr. Merkley earned his Medical Degree from Wilford Hall Medical and Saint Louis University, followed by the completion of his Surgical Internship and Residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. His career began at the Air Force’s largest hospital, the David Grant Medical Center, where he performed vision procedures for active Air Force and military members, retirees, and their families.
