Dr. McShane is board certified and fellowship trained in the area of total joint replacement surgery and is world renowned for his expertise in the areas of total hip and knee replacements. He has performed thousands of hip and knee replacements and is known worldwide for the highest standard of care. Dr. McShane has received numerous professional awards and has authored many research articles to advance the science of total joint replacements. He was ranked among the top orthopedic surgeons by his peers in WBNS 10tv “Docs Rate Docs” 2004, and was voted “Best Orthopedic Surgeon” by Columbus Monthly in 2007 and 2008. Dr. McShane can frequently be found lecturing to this peers and also to the community. With a heart for giving back, He is also part of Operation Walk, an international effort to provide total joint replacement surgeries to third world countries.
