Melissa Albritton, MD, specializes in hormone irregularities at Endocrine & Thyroid Specialists at Willis Knighton Bossier. She recognizes the significant role hormones play in so many areas of a person’s health and well-being, ranging from sex hormones to diabetes. Her excitement about each patient’s health condition is infectious and truly motivational as Dr. Albritton works toward cures for her patients.
A North Louisiana native, Dr. Albritton earned a degree in chemical engineering at Louisiana Tech University before medical school at LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine. Her residency and fellowship were at the same location. Dr. Albritton is board certified in endocrinology and metabolism (National Board of Physicians and Surgeons). Her memberships include American Medical Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Albritton can be found gardening, swimming, running, painting and reading.
