Mauricio Martinez Dr. Martinez attended the University of Florida where he earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 2003. Before attending dental school he received a Master's Degree in Nutritional Science. In addition to general and family dentistry, Dr. Martinez offers implant dentistry, orthodontics, Invisalign and he uses the D4D Dentist System which allows him to deliver beautiful tooth like restorations such as crowns and veneers in the same appointment. The same system also allows him to replace those unsightly damaging silver fillings with long lasting porcelain inlays and onlays. Since graduating from dental school Dr. Martinez has taken hundreds of hours in postgraduate courses that include implant dentistry, root canal therapy and orthodontics. Dr. Martinez is also currently attending the prestigious Las Vegas Institute where he is learning and implementing neuromuscular dentistry to help his patients suffering from TMJ pain and chronic headaches. Dr. Martinez maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Lee County Dental Society.
