He completed his Internship/Residency as Chief Resident at United Health Services in Johnson City, NY. He performed his Fellowship at The Ohio State University in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Karpenko also was a research fellow at and received a MS degree from Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
