Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Matthew Stahlman is board certified General and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where he was selected a member of AOA (honorary medical society). Subsequently, he completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Parkland Hospital) in Dallas. After practicing Internal Medicine in Austin, Dr. Stahlman then completed a fellowship in General Cardiology followed by a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, both at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
