Mary Makar, MD graduated from MIT and Harvard Medical School. She completed her ophthalmic residency at Wills Eye in Philadelphia. Dr. Makar was co-editor of the most widely read publication in Ophthalology, The Wills Eye Manual of Emergency Ophthalmology, 3rd edition. She has multiple interests in ophthalmology including teaching of medical students, doctors in training, and residents in ophthalmology. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases and office treatment of ophthalmic medical and surgical problems. She provides diagnostic care, consultations, second opinions, emergency care, long term treatments, and specialty services of eye diseases.
