Mary P. Bronner, MD, is Director of Gastrointestinal Pathology and Section Head of Morphologic Molecular Pathology at Cleveland Clinic. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal, hepatic and pancreaticobiliary pathology and molecular diagnostics. In 2005, she received the Purdy Stout Prize, recognizing her as a surgical pathologist under the age of 45 whose research publications have had a major impact on diagnostic pathology. She became part of the Elected Council of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology in 2007. Dr. Bronner received her medical degree in 1989 from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Penn., where she also completed her residency.
