Dr. Christian is a graduate of Wofford College (B.S. 1984), and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine (M.D. 1988). She completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of Kentucky, serving there as chief resident from 1992 to 1993. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Disease. Prior to relocating to Louisiana and specializing in Breast Surgery in 2003, Dr. Christian was in private practice as a General Surgeon in South Carolina and served in the Indian Health Service at the Alaska Native Medical Center. She is married and has three daughters.
