Dr. Marvin Brooks is a family physician with a special interest in cross-cultural medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Brooks received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed a residency at North Memorial Medical Center. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Family Practice. He has taught medical students for the past 20 years. He also has an interest in sports medicine and was past Minnesota powerlifting champion. His professional memberships include the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Hennepin County Medical Society.
