Dr. Dixon is a Kansas native who attended both undergraduate and graduate school at Pittsburg State University. He received his doctorate of osteopathy from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience in 1981. Dr. Dixon completed his postgraduate medical training at Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona. Dr. Dixon is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Dixon cares for patients who are 12 years and older. In addition to the usual scope of general medicine, Dr. Dixon%u2019s major clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes and musculoskeletal disorders including those that require joint and trigger point injections. Dr. Dixon has been married to his wife, Leah, for 18 years. They have two children: Alex, 16 and Sarah, 12. The family enjoys their two dogs, outdoor activities and time at the beach.
