I like my patient’s to be as informed as possible, to know their condition including both the “good and bad” of treatment and what lifestyle approaches can make a difference or be preventative. After a few visits and depending on the complexity, I will ask my patient what direction they feel they are moving and what direction we should go? If I’ve done a good job, we are speaking the same language and come to an easy and clear plan moving forward.
