Ashwin Gowda , MD is a native of Chicago and has been in practice in Austin since 2002. He is a Psychiatrist who specializes exclusively in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. He completed his Psychiatric training at the Mayo Clinic and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York . He has conducted research in narcolepsy/Cataplexy, evaluation of daytime sleepiness, and sleep apnea in children and has presented his research at national sleep conferences.
