Margreete Johnston MD is a graduate of Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee. Tulane University in New Orleans provided her residency training. Prior to entering private practice, Dr Johnston worked for the Public Health Service in a physician shortage area. She is Board Certified by the AAP and active in community advocacy. Dr. Johnston's primary focus is general pediatrics, birth through college age youth, with an emphasis on preventive medicine. As a certified lactation consultant, Dr Johnston is able to help families establish breastfeeding. Her hobbies include art., photography and travel. Her husband Bill Doak, MD, helped establish Childrens Clinic of Donelson. They have two sons.
