Dr. Mann grew up in Huntington Beach, Orange County, California. She received her undergraduate training at Stanford University where she double majored in Biology and Psychology. She graduated a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received top honors for her research in Immunology. Dr. Mann spent the last ten years in St. Louis, where she completed her medical education and dermatology specialty training at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Mann completed a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Advanced Dermatologic Surgery at the Center of Dermatologic and Cosmetic Surgery at Washington University. During her fellowship, Dr. Mann participated in over 1,000 cases of Mohs surgery and over 250 cases of endovenous ablation. She also had extensive experience in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Mann's practice focuses on the management of skin cancer, venous disease, and cosmetic surgery. In addition to the full spectrum of medical dermatology, Dr. Mann is an expert in all aspects of venous diseases-- venous ulcers, varicose veins, and spider veins. She is well versed in the full range of venous treatments including endovenous ablation, duplex ultrasound, phlebectomy, and sclerotherapy. She also specializes in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery techniques such as Botox, fillers, scar revisions, and laser surgery.
She is a primary investigator on several research projects on skin cancer and venous disease, and has lectured nationally to physicians on these topics. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is the principle author of a clinical handbook of dermatology used extensively in dermatology residency training.
