Dr. Marc Umlas is the chief of orthopaedic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He attended the Stanford Universtiy School of Medicine and later completed his orthopaedic surgery training at Harvard Medical School. Following his surgical training , Dr. Umlas completed a formal fellowship in adult joint reconstruction also at Harvard Medical School and arthritis surgery and joint reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Umlas practice general orthopaedic surgery with a specialization in arthritis surgery and joint replacement. He is currently involved in clinical practice, teaching and research and has been extensively published on national and international levels.
