Brief Intro

Dr. Takhar has been the Medical Director of Medical Access since 1999. She completed her undergraduate studies as well as her medical degree in 1986. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced in some of the country's major emergency rooms. This has prepared her for almost any type of injury or illness that may present itself. In addition to these qualifications she is also a Civil Surgeon, which is an Immigration and Naturalization Service designation and a Medical Review Officer (MRO), overseeing drug-screening programs for employers. She enjoys gardening, shopping, spending time with her family and actively participates in activities of her two children.
