Mahalingam Satchi, M.D., FACOG, received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ceylon, Colombo. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, an affiliate of Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn. He then proceeded to London, England where he received two years of further training in obstetrics and gynecology. Certified by the American and British Boards in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Satchi has a special interest in Vaginal Surgery and Alternative Menopause Management. His professional affiliations include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of England and Fairfield County Medical Association. Dr. Satchi is also the Director of Candlewood Aesthetics and is the surgeon performing all in-office cosmetic procedures including Laser Liposuction. Dr. Satchi joined Candlewood Center for Womens Health in 2004.
