Lindsay Maggio, M.D., MPH, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Maternal Fetal Medicine physician. She currently serves as the Division Director for Maternal Fetal Medicine at JFK University Medical Center. With her extensive training and background, Dr. Maggio provides exceptional care for women with complex or high risk pregnancies. She is equipped to manage and treat pregnancies that face complications due to fetal abnormalities or genetic conditions as well as complicated maternal conditions.
Before joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Maggio held positions as a MFM specialist at Nemours Children’s Hospital and Advent Health Orlando. She also served as an assistant professor at prestigious institutions including Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Morsani School of Medicine at South Florida, and the College of Medicine at Central Florida. Dr. Maggio’s expertise extends beyond clinical practice; she’s made significant scholarly contributions, with publications in multiple peer-reviewed journals and books. Additionally, she has delivered many insightful presentations on ranging topics in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Maggio has been engaged with various community organizations, including notable contributions to Planned Parenthood and other volunteer events in her community. These experiences reflect her commitment to providing high quality, accessible health care to the communities she serves. Dr. Maggio is actively involved with professional associations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology, the Society for Maternal-Fetal-Medicine, and American Institute for Ultrasound Medicine.
