Dr. Myers is a Pediatric Rheumatologist who has more than 30 years of experience and was the first Board Certified Pediatric Rheumatologist in the state of Tennessee. She is a Master at the American College of Rheumatology. She completed her medical training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis receiving an MD degree. She then did a residency in Pediatrics at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital (Washington University Medical School, St. Louis). Her Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship training was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas Texas. Her expertise includes patients with juvenile arthritis, pediatric lupus, pediatric scleroderma, rheumatic fever, periodic fevers, and multiple other connective tissue diseases. Her practice welcomes new patients as well as established patients. A referral from a Pediatrician, Orthopedist, or other clinician is helpful. New patients should be prepared to bring any medical records, X-ray records, or laboratory reports that pertain to the current illness.
