Lesley McPeak, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is from Florida and received her medical degree from Florida State University in 2010. She completed her pediatric residency with the United States Navy at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia and was subsequently stationed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Georgia. Dr. McPeak believes communication and empathy are at the center of the physician-family relationship. She strives to provide evidence-based care with a collaborative and child-centric approach. Dr. McPeak's special clinical interest is attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD. She completed the REACH Institute's mini fellowship for patient-centered mental health in pediatric primary care in 2021. She lived in Fernandina Beach for six years while working for the Navy, and considers this area home. Dr. McPeak enjoys spending time with her two daughters, baking, cooking, gardening, reading, traveling and yoga. She is proficient in German.
