He then earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he also completed both his residency and fellowship in obstetrics and gynecology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Central Medical Society and the Jackson Gynecologic Society.
