2022 Georgia Trend's Top Doctor Award Winner. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Leena Lake earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and then a medical degree from Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. She then completed her fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the prestigious Carolinas Pain Institute under Dr. Rauck and Dr. Kapural at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. In January 2020, Dr. Lake joined Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Interventional Pain Medicine, where she provides high-quality, non-surgical treatment of pain, including image-guided procedures for spine pain, nerve pain, and musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Lake is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. In her spare time, Dr. Lake enjoys watching UGA football. She loves spending time with her family and is proud to be a part of the community where her husband, Dr. Andrew Lake, was raised.
