Dr. Corbett has been in neurological practice in the Capital District since 1976. Originally from Long Island, Dr. Corbett graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1967 and from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1971. He completed residency training in neurology at Albany Medical Center Hospital in 1976. Dr. Corbett is board certified in neurology and has served on several area hospital committees. He was also active as a member of the New York State Board of Professional Medical Conduct from 1980 to 1987 and the New York State Board of Medicine from 1989 to 1997. He taught neurology and served on the Board of Trustees at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1980 to 1984. He served as a trustee for the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society. From 1989 to 1996, Dr. Corbett was Chief of the Neurology Section at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. He presently serves as Chief of Neurology at St. Mary's Hospital and is a former Chief of Neurology at Samaritan Hospital.
