Dr. Gibson was born and raised in the Houston area, graduating from Friendswood High School. She graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in neuroscience and a minor in chemistry. Her senior year she was chosen as the most outstanding graduate in neuroscience.
She earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2010. Dr. Gibson completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Memorial Hermann Hospital. During her training, she served on the resident selection committee to recruit and choose new residents. Dr. Gibson was also elected to be an Administrative Chief Resident from 2013-2014.
Dr. Gibson enjoys being an advocate for women's health and feels privileged to provide obstetric care during a patient's pregnancy and delivery. She is dedicated to patient education and empowerment and looks forward to developing life-long relationships with her patients. Dr. Gibson has been trained in gynecologic surgery and has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Gibson was born at The Woman's Hospital of Texas and she and her husband have always called Houston home. She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband Neil, two daughters Sophia and Nora, and two dogs Barkley and Maeby.
