Kost Elisevich, MD, PhD, co-chair, department of clinical neuroscience, and chief, division of neurosurgery for Spectrum Health Medical Group, has practiced neurosurgery for over 20 years in both the United States and Canada. He trained at the Montreal Neurological Institute and other McGill University-affiliated hospitals after obtaining his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, where he also completed his graduate studies. He comes to the Spectrum Health Medical Group from the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, where he served as system director of epilepsy and functional neurosurgery. His immediate areas of interest are in epilepsy, brain tumors, pain and headache disorders.
