Kevin P. Charpentier, MD, FACS, is an assistant professor of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his bachelors degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT, and his fellowship in transplant surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He also completed postgraduate work at Legacy Healthcare and RITA, Laparoscopic Liver Surgery, Laparoscopic Radiofrequency Ablation of Liver Tumors in Portland, OR. Charpentiers areas of clinical expertise include surgery of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas (hepatobiliary surgery) and transplant surgery.
