Brief Intro

Kevin J. Mancini D.M.D. I am originally from central Massachusetts where I was born and raised. I attended Assumption College in Massachusetts with a Biology major, chemistry minor, and a concentration in biotechnology. I then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1999 with a DMD degree, Summa Cum Laude, graduating number one in my dental school class of 160 students. I then received a specialty certificate in Orthodontics in 2001 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. This orthodontic specialty program at Tufts University consisted of two additional years of full-time training in the art and science of orthodontics. Part of my philosophy includes attending continuing education coursework to continually deliver the latest in orthodontic technology, treatment, and patient care. I was the charter president of the Coastal Pender Rotary Club in Hampstead, I am on the board of directors for the Greater Hampstead Chamber of Commerce, I am the past chairman of the cape fear chapter of the Boy Scouts of America Investment in Character campaign, I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the North Carolina Dental Society, The fifth District Dental Society, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, the four corners dental study club, as well as past President of the Carteret County Dental Society. Outside of Orthodontics, I enjoy spending time with my 3 precious boys Joshua, Nicholas, and Alex. They are my everything. I also enjoy boating, going to the beach, golf, gardening, and traveling.
