Kevin G. Shea, MD, AAOS, ABOS serves as team physician for Rocky Mountain High School. His research interests and publications include osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), anatomy of knee injury in children and adolescents, and evidence-based analysis of injury prevention programs. Dr. Shea is vice chair of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Clinical Practice Guideline Committee for the Treatment of OCD. He is a founding member of the OCD Study Group of North America and serves on Evidence Based Practice Committees for AAOS and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Association of North America and the Publications Committee for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. His fellowships include AO/Trauma (Switzerland), pediatric orthopaedics (San Diego), and Ilizarov (Italy). He was a 2008 AOSSM South American Traveling Sports Medicine Fellow and a 2009 AAOS Leadership Fellow.
