Dr. Looser is a Board Certified General Surgeon with additional training in Surgical Oncology (cancer care). He has practiced in the Seacoast since 1978 and continues to be on the forefront of surgical care. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Fairfield University and earned his Medical Doctorate from Albany Medical College. His surgical training in General Surgery occurred at Hartford Hospital. He was an American Cancer Society Fellow in Surgical Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Looser has held numerous leadership positions including Chief of General Surgery at the former Pease Air Force Base, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees overseeing Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
