Dr. Kent M. Patrick grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1977. In 1982, he completed a Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. Dr. Patrick returned to Des Moines to practice for four years and became Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. With the desire to sub-specialize in spine related problems, Dr. Patrick completed a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at New York Medical Center and Bellevue Medical Center in 1987. He has limited his practice to spine related issues since that time. Dr. Patrick practiced in California for 20 years before returning to his Midwest roots in 2008.
