Dr. Van Valkenburg is a board certified ophthalmologist that brings over twenty years of clinical, educational and surgical experience. She actively pursues ongoing training in her field and has done extensive volunteer service performing cataract surgery in Ghana, Honduras, Peru, and Belize. She performs the most state of the art cataract and laser surgery and enjoys seeing joyful patients after offering them the most up-to-date intraocular lens implants. Dr. Van Valkenburg is committed to eye health and prides herself in accommodating ophthalmic emergencies and effective communication with consulting physicians.
